My little brother found a kitten outside, I know mother cats putvthem places to go hunt etc. But my neighbor has a mother cat and the babies are just about a week younger than the one he found. I was wanting to know if the mother will take in the kitten. And how old they have to be to sell them. I'm NOT NOT selling the cutie. I'm giving him to my bff cuz my cat is completely territorial. Hi, I lost a cat two months ago and and thankfully found him, but his sister who he's been with since birth now hisses and growls at him (very uncharacteristic for such a loving cat). Thoughts on my male cat spraying if I were to get another male kitten?

If he was neutered when he was young, and never sprayed, he probably won't spray if you introduce him slowly to the new kitten. I have three male cats. The first was neutered at about 3-4 months. A couple of months later I got another male kitten. He was neutered about 3 months. Neither cat has ever sprayed. Both cats are about 4 years old now. About a year ago I took in another, much older male who was a stray, and also an intact tom. I had him neutered about 4 days after he showed up. None of my cats, even him, have ever sprayed in the house, and I know he sprayed since he was an unneutered tom when I got him. I think the key is to introduce them slowly. Keep the kitten in the bathroom, and let them sniff each other out under the door for a few days. That way your cat won't feel his space has been invaded, and decide he needs to mark out his territory. Since your cat is only a year or two old, he'll probably be playing with the kitten before long, and then your biggest problem will be to keep him from playing too rough with the baby! Cats spray to mark their territory, and if you go slowly, your cat won't see the baby as much of a threat, and probably won't feel the need to show the itty bitty what's his.

Today I woke up to a nice banging on the door.I answer it and the manager is telling all tenants with dogs that all dogs have to be out by today. There was no notice of this. They just randomly went to every persons apt with a dog and told them they cannot keep them here anymore. Will titanium micro plates be an issue when passing through TSA screening?

In 2002, I had titanium micro plates attached to my skull to help keep it together. Since then, I have not had to pass through TSA screening at all, and will likely need to be traveling on either the AMTRAK or a commercial airline. Both will require screening, either to board or when exiting (AMTRAK). I was driving on the 405 freeway which has a speed limit of 65. I was in the carpool lane and my baby was sleeping in his carseat in the back. My speed was between 65-70 approximately. As I was driving, there was a cop in the far right lane, she switched all the way over and entered the carpool lane tightly behind me because I was trying to maintain the speed limit. After following me for about 5 minutes she stopped me and I was shocked and had no idea why. After I pulled over, she came up to my car and accussed me of speeding. She claimed I was driving 75 mph. There is NO WAY that I was going that speed. What I think happened was that she thought I was alone in the car and violating the carpool lane laws and pulled me over but then once she saw my son sleeping, she had to come up with an excuse and claimed I was going 75. I saw her behind me and there was no way any normal person would speed if a cop was following them. I tried to maintain my 65 speed but a person driving on the freeway, with their foot on the gas may have speed fluctuations between 65-70 and that is just normal! I didn't want to sign the ticket because it said I was going 75 but she told me I ahd to and that I could take it to court (which I will). She also said that she can give me a speeding ticket for going 66 when I protested that my speed was definitely less than 70. I told her that people don't usually drive with their cruise control on 65 on the freeway! It's not safe! So, what should I do? Will the judge believe me if I just tell the truth?

One of my rats is a bully-experienced rat owners only please?

I have four rats, and three of them are very friendly and playful and always get along and enjoy getting held. But on of them (which I found from a newspaper ad) is a horrible bully and beats the living sh*t out of the others. I have two large cages, so I keep the three separated from the really big mean one. I've tried to put them in a different area together so maybe it won't be so territorial, but this one just seems to be out for blood. If I try to put any others in his cage they get super freaked out because he's immediately on them once they set foot in the cage. This rats also really skittish, however he's gotten used to me and lets me hold him and play with him. I''ve found he can actually be very sweet and cute, he's just misunderstood (lol, cheesy, but true). I don't know what to do because I know if I give this rat away he's definitely going to be used as a feeder rat since he's so unfriendly and I love this little guy and I feel like we have a bond, but at the same time I feel so bad for him because he has to sit in that big cage all by himself while the other ones all have each other. My Brother....He's had a warrant out for a year now that he just not to long ago found out about for Violation Of Probation. He had got arrested last year for tress-passing and let out the same day. The warrant is out because he didn't do any of his probation that he was suppose to do when he first got released from jail last year. So he's basically had a warrant out for Violation Of Probation. BUT he turned himself in 2 days ago on his own and he had his first appearance today in court but the judge sent him off to sit in jail for 2 weeks to wait to see another judge. He's not eligible for bond neither. Is this looking bad..whats likely to happen?

Should i let my puppy sleep in my bed or not?

If you ask any dog trainer not only should they not be in your bed but they should not sleep in your room either. I totally disagree. I have six dogs and as youngs pups they did sleep next to me. I decided with #6 to not allow her to sleep in my bed. I found she was not bonding with me the same as,my others. After trying this for awhile i was not happy with the results and swore it was because i was not allowing her to sleep with me. I ended up changing it and had her come in. It took longer but gradually saw the change in her. I think the biggest problem is that once you start this it is very hard to break. You never know what the future holds for you so it may seem fine now but in 6 years you might change your mind.

And yes, when you first got her, it might have been because she was abused and was afraid to be alone. But I suggest taking her to the vet at all costs. I work overnight on a mental health unit. Recently, my manager use still photos from surveillance cameras mounted on the unit and laid them in the employee common area to highlight no-nos for employees. There were comments written such as 'badge not visible', 'no shoes on', 'not compliant with dress code', etc. One of my colleagues removed the photos and complained. I still to this day have not seen them since they were only visible to others while I was off 2 days. Noone has approached me from management to discuss the violations of policy. I am certainly not the only person who goes shoeless at night, or any of the other policy violations, but I find it interesting that they singled me out, seeing that there is a push to get rid of alot of the veteran staff in favor of new blood. There also appears to be an animosity toward me here by the new administration, I may have upstaged the new manager days before by de-escalating a group of clients in a situation that he lost control of. Of legal note: I work in Massachusetts, not sure what the laws here say about this. Also, the cameras are intended to protect staff and clients in the event of a restraint, but increasingly have been used to 'catch' staff in policy violations. The video feed goes to the main hospital; we are a satellite 60 miles away.

Hello, I am a owner of multiple reptiles. And due to the stupidity of many online users, I'm gonna clarify that I do know that mixing species is not recommended. I am not a beginner, owned these guys for more than 5 years. I currently do not have any terrarium or vivarium with two species together. My golden gecko enjoys eating CGD(Crested Gecko Diet) more so than my cresties! The CGD is greatly beneficial to both species. They live in environments that are exactly identical such as humidity, temperature, and substrate. I am currently building my own large terrarium, I'm making it large enough to house all my cresteds (because my terrariums aren't large enough to keep the same gender together without territorial issues) and put many eating dishes in to further avoid territorial conflict and i was thinking of allowing my golden gecko to live amongst them. My terrarium will be more than large enough to give them all plenty of room so I know they won't be aggressive because I use to keep them housed together when I had a larger tank(excluding the golden gecko). Basically, I really just want someone with some real experience of having multiple species in a terrarium together. Will this combination work? please give facts on why they cannot be kept together if that is the case, opinions are welcomed if informative and backed with detail. I have two cats (both male & litter mates), and am awaiting the arrival of a new member to my little family. An 8 week old male Pug. I do already question whether or not they will even get along, but also I worry that if the Pug begins marking that it may trigger the cats to begin spraying. They (the cats) have been fixed and have never sprayed before. I do fully intend to fix the Pug as well ASAP. If you pop it it can scar. My own home remedy is to make a poultice out of 1 tablespoon baking soda and 1 tablespoon rubbing alcohol. Clean the goop off of the boil and apply the paste --cover with a bandage and let sit for a few hours then change. This will pull the infection out of the skin and has no chance of causing further damage. Good Luck.

Cats normally start peeing/pooping outside their box when they are stressed out. My cat started peeing on the floor when I had my daughter. It freaked her out. My mom recently started having the same problem since my now toddler goes over there. Little kids/toddlers cause cats alot of stress. There is this new product called Comfort Zone which helps relax cats - which ultimately keeps them from going outside the box. Its supposed to be a great product that really works. My ferret keeps hissing at me!?

I adopted her from a family who couldn't keep her. We re-named her, (Tahlulah) gave her a bigger cage, adopted another ferret for her, give her food/water/treats/toys, but she keeps hissing at me! Guinea pig separation anxiety?

Hi everyone! I have 4 beautiful texel guinea pigs..1 male and 3 female..2 of the females are the babys (now 7 months old)...they are all great pigs i just have some questions. first is one of the sow kids is suuper shy, runs away when you try and pick it up and does not purr when you pet it. just seems a little odd when all my other guinea pigs love being picked up and purr and just overall love human interaction. any reason why this is? my second question is the black boar seems to be very moody. Sometimes he is very aggressive/ territorial and other times it seems like hes nice. i notice when i pet/ hold the others or clean the cage he will chatter his teeth( like every single time). this is the only pig that chatters his teeth. should i give him to a responsible owner( a vet that wants him) because he loves human interaction just has his weird points which i don't know what sparks it. if i did get rid of him will the 3 sows get separation anxiety and vise versa. will this effect them negatively. And my last question is i use towels/ fleece as bedding, but i recently realized that 2 of my pigs pick at the towels.. like they eat the soft fuzzy stuff...what is this behavior all about/ why are they doing this? is there a way to prevent it. i recently got them some willow chew sticks and it seems like they have stopped. So we're moving and my 13yr male old cat who's been with my mom and I since I was 4 doesn't like my aunt, who we're moving in with. And it isn't just my aunt. He seems to hate everyone except for my mom and myself. He's scratched or attacked my friends, my boyfriend, my grandma and grandpa, most guests we have over, etc. He also pees everywhere. We can't rehome like through craigslist or anything(and trust me, I wouldn't let him go to a bad home) because of his issue with other people so it seems like the only other option is the animal shelter. I know that they put down animals with behavioral issues and I just wanted to know if that was considered one because if they did do tests on him and everything and they did end up having to put him down, we'd like to have our vet do it and have him cremated. Hi we recently found a blue healer wattling around the streets and decieded to keep him. He is a puppy. A saucy one 2:) Very playful and stuff. My kittens from the same litter don't like each other?

My two kittens are 8 weeks old, and are from the same litter. One is male and the other is female. We got the male on Saturday (June 11th), and then decided he needed some company, and went back to the same place and got the female 24 hours later. The male however already doesn't seem to like the female - he's been growling and hissing at her, and if she gets too close, he swats at her. My mother has suffered from depression twice in her life and she is going through it for the third time. She was recently diagnosed with OCD, as well as being in a depression. My girlfriends brother was throwing rocks at her dog (animal abuse) and she told him to stop. Well this angered him so he threw a rock at her and hit her in the leg with it. She threw a rock and hit him in he head. and he chased after her and hit her (domestic violence). After she tried a second time to get away from him, he threw rocks at her (projecting a deadly missile i believe). Also, this happened while he was on probation his second time, one of the charges being for domestic violence (violation of probation). she showed the officer the marks on her, and the officer shrugged it off like it was nothing. The officer also told her it was a family problem and it just needed to be settled by her mom, and that if she would arrest anyone it would be my girlfriend. He has threatened to kill her and my family and me as well as their mom before numerous times. Her mom only cares about her son, and tries her hardest to stop the daughter from calling the police or if she already did, she will try her very best to get all charges directed at her daughter. So im assuming domenstic violence is legal in pasco county, FL now, and i am considering beating everyone that is related to me, that i am in a relationship with, that currently lives in my household and anything else pertaining to domestic violence. Disregarding my last remark, what can be done about this?

Pimple with no head, very sore!!?

I've had a pimple on the side of my face for the past three or four days. It's gotten pretty big (thumbtack size) but it's all under the skin and hasn't come to a head. When I touch it it feels hard. The problem is that I wear glasses and the temple piece rubs against my pimple and makes it really sore. It's also hard to sleep on my side because it puts pressure on the pimple. Help for my friend's rescue crossbreed?

My friend recently got a rescue dog-he's about 7 and the rescue centre believe that he is a staffordshire bull terrier/labrador/collie X He is wonderful around people-friendly and gentle, but if he meets other MALE dogs on a walk, he will growl and snap, and once got into a fight with a pitbull. We are all very worried about the other dogs, and the safety of whoever is holding his lead-he really can pull when he wants to, We, and the rescue centre, can only imagine that he was raised a 'macho' status symbol sort of dog, poor thing, but his behaviour became too much for them and so he was abandoned in the Brecon Beacons in December-he was found starved, soaked through and shivering. He has been neutered, and it has been suggested that this is why he feels vulnerable around other males. He is very territorial and protective of his family. Can you imagine anything that can be done? Thankfully they live in quite and isolated area, where it is possible to take him for a 2 hour walk without meeting any other dogs at all, but it would be wonderful if they could take him out with them. Sounds like you're doing a spectacular job. It's great that you're supervising their play and you should probably continue to keep an eye on them until the kitten gets a little stronger, just to be safe. I doubt your older cat's behavior is aggressive. You would be able to tell if he was actually upset and trying to injure the kitten. More likely they are just play fighting and having fun. I haven't had two cats concurrently but it sounds a lot like playtime between my cat and dog. They're best friends but look like they're trying to kill each other when they play. It may look rough but if your cat was hurting the kitten the kitten would squeal and clearly express that it was in pain, letting your cat know to stop whatever he's doing. If the kitten was being hurt he also wouldn't come back to be further attacked. If your cats sleep together they obviously enjoy each others company, which is great. ok so I have a weird shape tank, it's sort of like 2 hexagon tanks that are 45cm straight across connected by two 20cm tubes that are 3 inches diameter.now knowing the size of my tank do you think that two bristlenose plecos (1 normal and 1 albino) would be ok if i put 1 piece of driftwood in each side because I've heard that plecos like to eat driftwood and I was thinking that 2 pieces would mean that their would be 1 pleco on each side of my tank meaning that they would not be territorial. also there are a few neon tetras and a few zebra danios if that makes any difference

Wow, what a pickle of a question. There is almost ZERO information about this TV online. Most 3D TVs are compatible with all 3d devices. Keep in mind the TVs only job is to display what it is being sent. But apparently from what you have stated the 3d is only available with the sky TV. However it appears that in the US, LG makes a TV that only has 3D capability with what they call LG 3d Cinema, limiting 3d to that one feature. This is stupid and LG needs to get with the program.
