Currently in the territorial army?

Im currently in the Territorial army in my first few weeks of training, and am a bit stuck on how the bolt carrier and cocking handle are supposed to be inserted into the rifle.. anyone care to help me out, i need to know for this weekend !! Are they both connected together or.... ? Thanks.
