Is japanese parsley a type of mint leaves?

It has an herbal tone, but not mint like, you would be better getting a box of mint tea, it has no tea but would be strong enough to flavour your water for the purpose you want it, fresh mint is very light in flavour, you most likely will find spearmint over peppermint this time of year.
